Who we are

What we collect

• When you send an enquiry: your name, company (if any), email, phone number, project type, timing, project location or postcode, and the project details and photos you send us.
• When you call, email or message us on WhatsApp: your contact details and what you tell us.
• When you become a customer: site address, job details, quotes, invoices, inspection records and payment details needed to run the job.
• When you visit this website: technical and usage information collected through cookies (see below).

How we use it and why

• To reply to your enquiry, visit your site and give you a price. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To carry out the job, keep safety and inspection records, invoice and get paid. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and legal obligations (health and safety, tax and accounting).
• To keep records of our work and handle any complaint or claim. Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
• To measure how the website and our advertising perform. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who handle information for us under contract:

• Lovable and Cloudflare, which host and deliver this website.
• Supabase and Resend, which receive and deliver enquiry form submissions to us.
• IONOS, which hosts our email.
• Google (Analytics and Ads), for website and advertising measurement, only if you accept cookies.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there.

We may also share information with our insurers, professional advisers, and public bodies such as Cornwall Council (for example for a scaffold licence) where needed for your job or required by law.

Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 2 years.
• Customer and job records, including safety and inspection records: 6 years after the job ends, as required for tax and to deal with any claim.
• Website analytics data: up to 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it to be transferred. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact aiden@tubix.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the website work. With your consent we also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how the site is used, and Google Ads cookies to measure whether our adverts lead to enquiries. You can accept or reject these at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
