Render & repaint scaffolding in Cornwall

Full-elevation sheeted scaffolds for render, repaint, EWI and lime-work contractors across Cornwall and Devon — clean working lifts at every window head and a weather-proofed working environment.

    What the service involves

Render and repaint jobs need every square metre of the elevation reachable at comfortable working height. We set lifts at 2m centres, staggered so window heads, cills and reveals all sit at chest level rather than above the scaffolder's head. Boards are laid tight to the wall with brackets where the substrate is uneven. Where the client needs to keep working through a wet week or dust needs to stay off cars and neighbours, we sheet or net the elevation with debris netting or shrink-wrap and add corner ties. Ground protection goes down over patios and paths before anything else lands on site.

Why the Tubix approach fits render work

Render contractors lose days to badly laid boards, wrong lift heights and thin ties in gale-force wind. We build to TG20:21 designs with new, fully compliant BS EN 12811 / BS 1139 tube, tied at TG20:21 design intervals plus extra ties where sheeting acts as a sail on exposed Cornish and Devon elevations. CISRS-qualified crews, Scaff-tag on the ladder, weekly statutory inspections and a digital handover pack come as standard. Because we hold our own, continually expanding stock at Carnon Downs and mobilise inside 5–7 working days of assessment, your programme fits your material cure windows rather than the scaffolder's calendar.

    Typical Cornwall use case

A 1970s bungalow near Falmouth needs full-perimeter EWI with a sheeted elevation to protect the neighbour's boundary. We survey, issue the assessment inside 24 hours, and erect a two-lift sheeted rig with corner ties and boarded returns — the renderer works clean at both cill and head levels and the sheeting stays put through the two-week schedule.
